File this under 'I want one'. What could be cooler than navigating a remote controller helicopter while sitting comfortably on the ground with your iPad piloting its every move. Well with Griffin Technology's new Helo TC that's exactly what you can do. Forget about those old fashioned controllers that required a master's degree or 100 flight hours to figure out. Now you can slip your iPad into the included flight deck module and choose control your aircraft in one of two ways. Either a more traditional interface where you use your iPad to control the copter's throttle and flight stick or you can change over to the Helo TC's 'Tilt-To-Fly' mode and use your iPad's accelerometers to fly to your hearts content. Is that cool or what? The helicopter is specially made to be safe to fly indoors and the Helo TC App will be downloadable from the app store. The chopper is made of light weight polycarbonate and metal and even has lights. You can even 'record' a flight path and have it automatically 'replay' with the Helo TC recreating a flight! Awesome we must say. The Helo TC is priced in the $50-$60 range.
