Did you get the 'New iPad'?

Did you get the New iPad with Retina display?  Well give us the scoop!  Tell us what you think of it!  Is the display as good as it's been hyped to be?

Not yet but probably next week.  Just waiting for my next paycheck.  LOL

Got one delivered on launch day. Was delivered to the office at 10.00am :)

The display is pretty good. Very happy with it. I'm yet to use it to the point that I've noticed any heat issues that I've been reading about.

One thing that I have noticed is that if the app has not been updated to HD, you can see the slight differences in the sharpness of the display. I guess it's compatible to when the iPhones retina display came out.

Congrats on getting yours.   Good to hear that older apps scale up nicely to fill the complete display rather than running in a smaller window with black bars.   Have you tried out the camera at all?

Nope not at all haha.

Didn't even use the cam on my iPad 2. I occasionally see someone taking a pic with the iPad but just looks Linda weird holding a pad up for pics. That's what the iPhone is for! :)
